Volunteer for Carnivale and receive free entry to the Ross Wilson concert!

Would you like a free ticket to the biggest gig in town?
Do you stand out of the crowd?

Douglas Shire Council and Port Douglas Carnivale are looking for people to work as part of the Carnivale for 2018 helping us marshal the street for the spectacular Friday night street parade.
For about 3 hours, you will be required to check in for a briefing , take a place along the street, be nice to people and make sure the crowd stays out of the street parades way. There will be plenty of assistance to help you out, paid security guards on hand and clear instructions to ensure you can get the job done, while having fun at the same time.

The best bit, not only do you get that warm fuzzy glow of being an ace community spirited person, you also get a FREE TICKET to the Ross Wilson concert at Rex Smeal Park on the following Saturday night.
How good is that?!!

For more information and to sign up head to

and mention Street Parade in your application.
