🌱Would your business like to participate in the ecoBiz program?🌱

Tourism Port Douglas Daintree together with CCIQ ecoBiz is seeking up to 20 like-minded, small to medium sized local businesses, to take part in a new program to help operators cut their energy, water and waste bills.

We know everyone’s very busy at present so this program is designed with that in mind providing for the bulk of participation over the summer months when things are a bit quieter.
More than 1000 businesses across Queensland have already taken part in the ecoBiz program, which has been running for over 20 years, with the State Government reporting that those involved typically saw a 17% reduction in energy use, 14% increase in water savings and 13% increase in waste reduction.

Members of the local cluster group will have the opportunity to attend workshops to learn from one another and identify common challenges and solutions, opportunities for joint action on initiatives to share resources and costs, as well as case study opportunities. Additionally members will be mentored free of charge over the next 12 months to help improve efficiencies in their businesses.
The ecoBiz program is a fantastic opportunity for local operators to reduce their utility costs and achieve tangible environmental gains with a lot of practical, one-on-one support.
Applications for the local CCIQ ecoBiz cluster group will close on August 31st 2019. For more information please contact Mikala or to apply to be part of the programme please download the application form and return it to Mikala on or before August 31st.
